Are you people retarded? It's called a splash screen.

Recently just for fun, I put up a splash screen to my site that was meant to be temporary. I thought it was kind of funny myself, and that maybe a couple people would get a kick out of it. I also thought everyone who saw it would think to click on the giant picture to see my site, but that wasn't exactly the case. Just glancing over the site's statistics, I noticed this. Here's a chart for the two pages' hits over the past few days (cocaine.shtml was the splash screen and index.shtml is my homepage):


As you can see, of everyone who came here in the past few days, less than 20% actually clicked on my picture to see my site.

I can only reason that one of the following occurred for most visitors:
1. You were so repulsed by my giant picture that you closed your web browser and reformatted your computer.
2. You were offended by my humor and left.
3. You couldn't figure out that you COULD CLICK ON THE GIANT PICTURE to see my site.

This means at least one of the following:
1. I am ugly.
2. I am a jerk.
3. Most of the people who come to my site are stupid.

After weighing these possibilities, I concluded that case 3 is what happened every time someone did not click on my picture in these past few days.
